Strong acid cation exchange resin — the same NSF-grade media used in cartridge-form softeners, supplied loose so you can refill your existing CHF resin housing instead of replacing it.

Your CHF resin housing is purpose-built to be refilled. Discarding the whole housing every year is wasteful when only the media inside is exhausted — so we supply just the resin. Refilling takes about 5 minutes: empty the spent resin, rinse, pour in the new, and refit.

How many bags do I need?

Your system only ever needs one bag per refill — a single 2.5 L bag brings your housing to the correct fill line (not to the top — resin needs headspace to work). The two-bag option is simply this year's refill plus a spare on the shelf for next time.

• 1 bag — one complete refill ($60): everything one housing needs, once.
• 2 bags — refill now + spare ($105, save $15): same bag, twice — this year's and next year's.
